The Silver Lining of Awkwardness

One of the saddest realities of life is that the things we need to talk about the most, we tend to talk about the least. From sexual addiction, to depression, to marital discord, the realities of life in a fallen world can be difficult to talk about, especially in the church. And yet the very place intimacy and connection happen are in moments of vulnerability where we share with others the fallen realities of our own stories. Awkwardness is an invitation to vulnerability. And vulnerability is where intimacy and connection begin, both with God and also with one another.
